Moving Away

“The Circuit” is a comedy. It starts out with normal everyday life as a migrant family. A conflict rises and is realized which is that they have to move. They resolve the conflict by finding a place to stay. As a result of them moving, Panchito and his family are poor and need to learn to speak English. Life is very difficult for Panchito.
Moving would have to be the hard on Panchito. He would have to make new friends, learn new stuff, and travel everywhere with the seasons. Panchito probably didn’t even have time to make friends at the school he went to. Learning would be very difficult because, he would travel to different schools learning different things.
From moving the only thing he has is his family. His brother wants to go to school but can’t. School is very important to the brothers. Panchito is sad that his brother and family can’t go to school. Especially his brother because he has to go pick cotton.
His family can hardly speak any English but they all speak Spanish. Panchito is learning English with help from a teacher at his school. Panchito gets help from the teacher during lunch. So he doesn’t get much time to learn some English. Then when the teacher offers to teach him the trumpet they have to move.
“The Circuit” is a sad book because of how poor these people are. Panchito’s family has to suffer by moving and working all day in hot weather. His family is close though from moving. Yet it must still be hard to move. They value school because it will help their family.

  1. Nice essay i like how in the begining it tells what the mode was. And I like how you talk about from the start of the book to the end.
