Life is significant because of the world and its beauty. The animals, and the trees make it all so nice to me. Many people just don't like nature, and I don't get it there are so many things to like about nature. The colors can be so beautiful, and there are so many different color. The colors of the trees, other bushes, and much more. Watching the animals run around and play, the birds chirping. The ocean, and lakes are so beautiful with the waves rolling over rocks, and sandy beaches. The fish jumping out of the water just to say hello. In the morning if you get up early enough there's a mist over the lake and it sparkles in the sun. It looks like millions of diamonds floating in the air just waiting to be moved by the wind.

Conman Gone Working

Think of a conman just waiting for the right person. You and many others might be the right person. “The Glorious Whitewasher” was written by Mark Twain. This story is a comedy because there are some conflicts that make it funny. Tom Sawyer is a conman who is a young boy. He does it to get cool things like marbles and a dead rat. When you con someone you are considered evil. So conning someone is evil and should not happen.
In the first place conning can be simple or hard. Tom toke the easy route by making whitewashing look like fun. In which case makes them think that whitewashing is fun. Tom tricks them by telling them they can’t until they offer him something he wants. Otherwise the hard way was when Tom was paying no attention to Ben who was making a lot of noise. You could ignore to make them more interested which is harder than making it seem like fun.
In one case Tom finally let Ben whitewash after giving him something. That gave him the idea of tricking other kids for more things. Tom got an apple core from Ben and a whole bunch of other things. He got a kite, 12 marbles, and many other items.
Finally Tom was a little conman who conned other kids. Many People think that you hurt others for yourself. Those people become greedier and hurt others; because of those people many are scared. People think that conning is evil and that it shouldn’t happen. So you shouldn’t con people because it is evil.
Boy That Flew

Think about the rush of wind in your face as you jumped from a cliff. Next you’re gliding through the air waiting to land. “Brother to the Wind” is written by Mildred Walter and illustrated by Diane and Leo Dillon. Flying would be fun with the wind in your face. The magic of good snake is interesting because he didn’t really use magic. The laughter from the kids was mean and Emeke felt really bad. So bad things could happen then many things could happen to make you feel better.
In the first place, flying would be fun for so many people. They would jump and glide for a while until they land. Emeke glided which he built a paraglider. We use those today to glide through the air. Emeke was the first person to glide in his village. The giant kite was made of light material so it wasn’t that hard to glide for Emeke.
In addition, Good Snake doesn’t really use magic. He really persuades the animal or human that they can and how to. It is smart on how he does it making them think that they can by visiting him. When all they need to do is just think they can and believe in themselves.
Equally important, is how the kids laughed at Emeke. They didn’t believe in him, but Emeke stayed true to himself. He believed that he could fly, but all he had to do was find good snake. Many disbelieved him that he could fly and even his dad didn’t believe in him.
Finally, many things happened to Emeke like being laughed at and mocked. Although some good things did happen like flying, and finding Good Snake. Flying is what let Emeke be free from laughter. Good Snake let Emeke fly with a kite which was awesome for Emeke. So if you are sad something is always going to make you happy.

The Wish Unused

If you had three wishes and to help someone you loved would you use a wish to help them? Would you ever use your other wishes even if you’re first made that person unhappy? Think about the ones you hold dearly and well I hurt them with another wish. “The Third Wish” is written by Joan Aikan. Mr. Peters used his second wish out of love. He never used the third wish because he knew that it would only hurt him or the people that he loved. In the end Mr. Peters got his wish but wasn’t happy at all with his first. So even if your wishes come true you might not always be happy.

With the magic that the characters had only two used it. There are three characters to write about and they are Mr. Peters, Leita, and The King of the Forest. Mr. Peters is kind, lonely, and old. He wished for a wife and her name is Leita. Leita is sad and kind. She was a swan and was turned into a human. The King of the Forest is mean and angry and he gave three wishes to Mr. Peters.

In the story “The Third Wish” there was three symbols. The symbols were the leaves, the swan, and the feather. The leaves represent greed because they can give anything you want. The swan represents love because they are beautiful and majestic. Finally the feather represents death because it was with Mr. Peters dead body.

One of the symbols used magic and that symbol was the leaves. In the story “The Third Wish” magic was used quite often. This made it an interesting book to read. The King of the Forest used magic for himself. Mr. Peters used the leaves for good but also for evil. The evil was to wish for a wife because it turned a swan into a girl. The good was that Mr. Peters used his second wish to turn her back into a swan.

“The Third Wish” is a book that was written to show love. Two people Mr. Peters and Leita love each other, but Mr. Peters realizes that Leita isn’t happy so he turns her back into a swan. Many things like love and greed can be similar because you could love greed. In the story love beats everything even though greed is used. Even though Mr. Peters used his wish for him but he wasn’t happy.

Little Moon

Think of your daughter or son and that they are about to die and if you got them one thing they would live. If that thing was the moon, what would you do? Would you want them to live and get them the moon? Well, that is what happened in “Many Moons” by James Thurber. There was a king and his daughter fell ill, and for her to get better she needed the moon. The king called all of his wisest men. The Royal Wizard, The Royal Mathematician and the High Chamberlain but none of them could find a solution! However, the Court Jester, who normally is the court fool, was the wisest of all! The Court Jester helped the most out of everyone that tried by asking clever questions of Princess Lenore. “ Many Moons” teaches us that people shouldn’t be categorized but that we should hope for the best in everyone, giving people a chance, just as the King gave the Court Jester the opportunity to save Princess Lenore.
To begin with, the princess is a very smart and she basically got herself the moon by telling the Court Jester how to get it. Princess Lenore told him that the moon was as small as her “thumbnail” and made of gold. So the Court Jester went to the goldsmith and had him create a golden pendant on a beautiful necklace. He gave it to the princess and she was well again. The gold necklace with the moon pendant symbolizes how the King loves Princess Lenore.
Nevertheless, one question remains, the king and his royal assistants are worried what will happen when she sees the real moon up in the sky? However, the princess knew the answer to that. She said that it is just like a tooth; it grows back. The moon is a significant symbol in the book. The moon symbolizes life and love because it is big and beautiful and the King was determined to get it to save his daughter.
Some of the other symbols are the lute and raspberry tarts. The lute symbolizes sadness because the court Jester played when the king was sad. But that was the time the Court Jester had all of his ideas. The raspberry tarts were another symbol and they represented sickness, because the princess got sick after eating them.
The king tried to help as much as he could. You can tell that the king only has Princess Lenore. The king and Court Jester are just alike because they both care about the princess. The only thing that is different is that the King has a family. The Court Jester only has his lute. The Court Jester probably has a family. But they might live a long ways away. The King and Court Jester are the only people that figured out how to save the princess.
You never now a person’s true potential until you actually see them do it. You could think that they are bad at sports but then you see them and they are good at sports. Never judge someone just because they are small, slow, or really tall. You should never judge one thing over something you think is better. Then you realize that you made the wrong decision. So never judge one thing over another. Just like the King had to learn to be grateful for the Court’s Fool for saving the princess.

The unforgotten
Imagine a nanny that could do anything that she wanted. Mary Poppins can do anything jump into paintings and even laugh up to the ceiling. The movie “Mary Poppins” is directed by Robert Stevenson. “Mary Poppins” is a romance that will warm your heart. There is always a conflict but it is always fixed. Mary Poppins has left a great symbol with the family and the symbol is being together. It has brought the family closer. One thing can change a family’s life, and that is joy
There are many conflicts in the movie. The Kids never, ever, did anything with their dad, until they went to the bank together. The children’s mother didn’t really show that she loved them. But at the end of the movie she puts her political ribbon on the tail of the kite.
Mary Poppins will be a symbol to the family because the kids and she did things unimaginable. They jumped into a painting and walked along the country side. They went to Uncle Albert’s and if they laughed they went up to the ceiling. Many other magical things happened like flying up a chimney. Finally they walked up stairs made of chimney soot.
All of the characters in “Mary Poppins” are amazing. Once Uncle Albert starts laughing you can’t stop. Bert is a jolly young man that loves a good adventure. Jane Banks is a nice and able to take directions. Michael Banks is a young and funny boy. Mr. Banks is Jane and Michaels father. He is a hard and strict man yet still light at heart. Mrs. Banks is a woman fighting for her right to vote. Finally Mary Poppins is a fun loving, strict, and magical nanny.
This movie "Mary Poppins" shows strength, love and a sense of humor. It gives you a reason to laugh and have a good time. The movie tells you to enjoy life and magical things just happen. This will bring happiness and joy to you.

Moving Away

“The Circuit” is a comedy. It starts out with normal everyday life as a migrant family. A conflict rises and is realized which is that they have to move. They resolve the conflict by finding a place to stay. As a result of them moving, Panchito and his family are poor and need to learn to speak English. Life is very difficult for Panchito.
Moving would have to be the hard on Panchito. He would have to make new friends, learn new stuff, and travel everywhere with the seasons. Panchito probably didn’t even have time to make friends at the school he went to. Learning would be very difficult because, he would travel to different schools learning different things.
From moving the only thing he has is his family. His brother wants to go to school but can’t. School is very important to the brothers. Panchito is sad that his brother and family can’t go to school. Especially his brother because he has to go pick cotton.
His family can hardly speak any English but they all speak Spanish. Panchito is learning English with help from a teacher at his school. Panchito gets help from the teacher during lunch. So he doesn’t get much time to learn some English. Then when the teacher offers to teach him the trumpet they have to move.
“The Circuit” is a sad book because of how poor these people are. Panchito’s family has to suffer by moving and working all day in hot weather. His family is close though from moving. Yet it must still be hard to move. They value school because it will help their family.
